The Battlefield TodayAlthough I have only passed the battlefield of Lauffeldt while travelling to other destinations, I have enclosed some excellent photographs of the site taken by a friend of mine, Ugo Janssens. Also I am indebted to my friend Alain Tripnaux for supplying some of the prints and drawings of French uniforms. Alain is a very busy chap at the moment dealing with the preparations for next years Fontenoy celebrations but, like Ugo and his partner Esther, nothing is ever too much trouble-thanks guy’s!
